I am a native of Nebraska, and have lived in San Diego for more than 40 years. I first came here when I joined the Navy fresh out of high school. Serving almost four years, I decided to stay in this city that I came to love. Entering an apprenticeship program, I worked in the printing industry for the next several decades. By 2002, technology changed the career focus to starting a new job outlook at mid-life. An aspiring writer, I continue work on Great American Novels. I am certain that my storytelling abilities, powers of observation, and love of working with people will infuse my San Diego Tours-and that it, in turn, will enhance my writing. I am an active outdoors man. I love to ski, surf, and hike. My wife Beth and I camp and whitewater raft together. I have three children and eight grandchildren. |

Born and raised in the city of brotherly love (Philadelphia). Started my maritime career in the United States Coast Guard as a ships navigator. After an honorable discharge, I sat for my captains license returning to Philadelphia. Working for several companies including Spirit Cruises, Ride the Ducks, and a few off shore oil companies, I fell in love with the concept of tourism and it fit my natural innate ability to play well with others. I moved to America’s Finest City in 2006, bounced throughout the state for five years and returned to San Diego in 2012, where I started working for Old Town Trolley and their great San Diego Sightseeing Tours. |
