How long is the tour?

The San Diego tour is 90 minutes total with approximately 30 minutes on land
and 60 minutes on the water.

Is it fun for kids?

Definitely! Kids love our unique and entertaining San Diego tour.

Will I get wet?

No. However, a few drops of water could splash up from a wake.

Will I get Seasick?

No. However, if you are extremely susceptible to motion sickness, you may want to take something for your own comfort. Our vehicle has a weighted, flat bottom, which allows for a much smoother ride.

Is your tour wheelchair accessible?

Seaport Village only: We have the ability to handle wheelchairs and scooters with a manual lift available at the boarding location.

Is an advanced notice required?

We request you call 619-298-8687 for accessible available tour times.

What clothes should I wear?

Wear comfortable clothes and bring a jacket because it can get cool on the land portion, as the vehicle is open-air.

Where can I buy tickets?

To buy tickets online, go to San Diego Seal Tour tickets.

You may also purchase tickets at the Seaport Village Depot located at 500 Kettner Boulevard, San Diego, CA. Or you can purchase tickets by calling 619-298-8687. Some of our local hotels and visitor’s center also sell tickets.

Can I make a reservation over the internet?

If I buy a ticket other than at the ticket booth, can I pick a tour time and have a reserved seat?

You can purchase an e-ticket; however, you cannot make a reservation. Once you have purchased your tickets, you must sign up in person for a San Diego tour time. Having a ticket in hand does not mean you have a seat on the tour. Please see the sales representative at the Seaport Village ticket booth or Star of India ticket booth to sign-up for a tour time and obtain a boarding pass. Is there parking?

Yes, parking is available a Seaport Village and our sales representatives can validate your parking of $1 for 2 hours. Our Star of India location has 2-hour metered parking only.

Is there a place for my child’s stroller?

Yes. We have a lock to keep your strollers safe at our ticket booth while you are on the San Diego harbor tour. We cannot be responsible for lost or stolen personal items.

Where can babies or toddlers ride on the SEAL?

Babies and toddlers can either ride in their own car seat or sit on the parent or guardian’s lap.  Depending upon the age, a child could sit in their own seat.
