No doubt about it, our experienced guides and captains are the best in the biz. Here are some fun facts about each of them!
I was a broadcasting on-air personality for 27 years. I have worked at Monterey Bay Aquarium as a naturalist. As a story teller, I strive to deliver content that is fun and informative. I feel I achieve this by reflecting on
my experiences of being an Eagle Scout and always doing my best. My favorite pastime is going to Disneyland, repeatedly taking the Jungle Cruise and Indiana Jones ride while wearing my prized authentic fedora and leather jacket. So you know from that who my favorite hero is.
Ahoy my name is Fozii. I have been very privileged to have held a captain license for over 10 years now. My career in the tourism industry started back in 2002 when I got a job with a helicopter tour company in Hawaii. Seattle was the beginning of my career as a captain but the weather scared me away so here I am now in sunny San Diego. I Feel very lucky to be a part of the SEAL Tour team.
I was born and raised in San Diego and a graduate from University City High in 1987. I spent the next 5 years at Humboldt State University and then relocated to the British Virgin Islands. I returned to San Diego after Hurricane Irma in September 2017. During my 24 years in the Caribbean, I established a SCUBA instruction and tours business and an Eco Kayak tour company. I feel fortunate to be able to return to my family and friends in San Diego and enjoy sharing my local historical and marine knowledge on board the SEAL Tour.
My name is Hatch. I was born and raised in Anaconda, Montana. Big sky country where men are men. I spent three decades working with abused children before retiring. I am pleased to be back out in the fresh air and on the water of our Big Bay here in beautiful San Diego.
I’m from the beautiful city of Coronado. After a career as a PGA Tour players rep, I joined Old Town Trolley as a city tour conductor. I am now pleased to be a First Mate on the SEAL tour, sharing San Diego’s history on the waterfront and the “big bay”.

I hail from Texas and am a lifelong sailor. I passed through San Diego in 2011 on my way South to Mexico on Luna Sea, my 37-foot sailboat. San Diego appealed to me and after 4 years of cruising Latin American waters, my wife and I returned to San Diego for a change. Before crusing in Mexico and points south, I lived and worked in Santa Cruz and the Bay Area (Alameda) for many years. I have two siblings, brothers, who reside in Texas, four adult children scattered around the U.S. and a wife, Nina. I enjoy traveling, reading and sailing. Currently, I hold a 50 ton MMC with the Coast Guard and am collecting sea time towards my 100 ton MMC.

I have lived in San Diego for 56 years and loved every day. I am happily married to my wonderful wife of 40 years (Sydney), I have 3 children and 4 grandchildren. I have worked in the paper, art supply, and trade show industries. In 1999 I realized a lifelong dream- I bought a 40′ boat named “Island Time” in which I now live aboard. The search for a career compatible with my personality and lifestyle led me to SEAL tours.

Born outside of Chicago, Illinois. Moved to San Diego at age 4 and never looked back. After 30 years in the automobile and truck rental industry, I came to Old Town Trolley as a Conductor in 1999. Became full time Safety Officer. Since about 1985, my spare time has been spent maintaining and sailing Tall Ships, including the world’s oldest active sailing ship “Star of India”, the official tall ship for the state of California, the “Californian”, and a representation of a vessel from R.H. Dana’s ‘Two Years Before the Mast’, the “Pilgrim”.
